Siren Of The Sea

Out of the cool and salty brine
In gowns of water soft and fine
Seductively she calls all men
Down to the sea she dwells within

No seaman can resist the lure
Of her sweet call so soft and pure
She welcomes them with open arms
And while enchanted by her charms

Down they go to watery graves
Into her bed beneath the waves
The bones of those she’s known before
Lie strewn upon the ocean’s floor

Within the waters deep and wide
She beckons from the ebbing tide
I can’t resist her haunting spell
As I watch the waters rise and swell

She walks out of the swirling ocean
Gracefully with fluid motion
Upon the sand she waits for me
My lovely siren of the sea

Wonderful. Just wonderful.
She looks worth it, I guess.

Sewasham,

This poem is well crafted, with good use of end rhymes.

You have a truly marvelous imagination as well as  the ability to relate those beautiful thoughts, Steve. Lovely combination.
