DISAPPOINTMENT 11 August 2006 Chin on tired hands, snowed shoulders, flowers on screen take the low road and the trees are tall and the darts are sharp and twisted and rusted so many years so many tears so many fears twisted and rusted and what is there to say? what is there to say, really? - Owl |

I suppose there's nothing TO say ~ yet you appear to have been able to say something ~ and with great impression. I have been disappointed time and again in my life, but when I lessened my expectations ~ yet carried on with the business of living, wonderful surprises came my way! Disappointments now are few and far apart! ~ and the troughs only enhance my appreciation of the crests! Please forgive me for carrying on like this, but I deeply felt your poem. Loving hug to you, Dear Diana, Linda |

Hello Owl, it's one of the language paradox that we sometimes talk about the impossibility of talking... In fact your poem talk loud and clear in a distinctive voice. a great pleasure to read. yann |

Dear Diana, you don't have to say anything at all, you're words conveyed it quite nicely. Dissapointment is usually much easier with another's gentle hand on you're shoulder. Like your's on mine with your warm hearted reviews. Thank you for that. Rich |

Thanks, Linda. Yes, there are times, when words just simply don't help to people who just don't want to hear. Thanks, yann. The difference is that you are a compassionate poet and you listen to what somebody says to you. Not many people in business are either compassionate or poets or able to, or want to hear even what is their own interests. Thanks Richy and for the hand on my shoulder. As for my warm-hearted reviews of your poetry, well, that is so easy - you have a wonderful way with words. Thanks Jody for your kind words. Thanks lost-in-a-mind of dreams. I appreciate it. - Owl |

Owl Too often there is nothing to say, so I just offer hugs as I read. This is one of those times. And, sometimes, I tuck the poem away with those hugs - so I saved this one, wrapped it in hugs and tucked it away. A |

Thank you Alison. The hugs and the wrapping up of my poem and having it tucked away are much appreciated and made me smile. - Owl |
