the life i never got to have

grass fields are waiting
just inland from the inlet
out of reach at the tip
of my eyelash

wind rustles alder patch leaves
woven forts hidden
dew berries peer garnet red
and remember the first violets
of spring as they play the fiddle fern
lips to lips sighing a song

mulling over the concept
of impossiblities

I do believe I'm going to have to go find this veritable challenge, as it seems worthy, indeed!

And even before I read it, I am sure, my dear, that you've meet it, with some veracity!

"mulling over the concept
of impossiblities"

Nothing is impossible but sometimes it takes a time to know that what we really, really, want is not what we need.  In that context I guess many things are "impossibilities" and just never meant to be.

Go girl!  I'm enjoying your writes!  Thanks.

That, dear Alison, is downright 'poetical'!!!

Every line was a gem! I like the view from behind your lashes!

May your future be one of lush, green fields of dreams to be realized.

Love to you, dear A,
EA

I've just got to take more nature walks!

Dear Alison, may all your impossibilities become impossibly possible.
