Everyone’s obviously
Happy at the party

The air full
Of conversation
Occasional laughter
Everyone’s having
A good time

There’s sunlight
Streaming in
Through tall bay windows
Fresh bread blue cheese
And chilled white wine

And why
Was this woman
I had only known briefly
And never intimately
All those long years go

Suddenly
Kissing me
So tenderly

In the corner
Of a dream

.

Thank you both.

Yet Helen,
who is doing the remembering,
(I just thought of Arnold's
The Buried Life)?

Thanks again
