sometimes when you are in jeans
and untied shoes with too early on
after the hugs of fuzzy warm are done
and my mind falls into your bosom well
face down wondering how your laughter would feel

folded easy over the back of a chair
like those just right off in my mind jeans
with washed and wearable comfortable
slow danced fitted in boot cut or bare foot
or just propped up on a lap inappropriately perfect

somewhere in idaho or montana or next door
to nowhere else special any more
when those kind of mornings are not noticeable
and only the coffee and something else between us
is what you would whisper the sides off of

just to taste test the widest part of my smile

I love to read your work.  It is something to do with the way you take an overdone thing like the love poem, infused it naked sensuality and take your poems to heights unclaimed.

You always make me smile.  You always give me a warm fuzzy feel, too.  I like your poetry, and I like this.

Such charming morning "hugs of fuzzy warm" induce me to believe in a day full of brightness and laughter.

Enticing.

D

Coffee, jeans and special times shared - makes for a puzzle that I would enjoy sharing pieces to.
