Words and Rhymes get me through the hard times
Those times when I feel people dont care
when Im all alone and no one is there
The paper and pen are my only friends
and if I ever make mistakes
they can easily be erased
When my heart hurts I pour it out into words
when my mind is racing my pen is racing
chasing every thought until they get caught
Onto this paper my thoughts will be freed
the paper and pen are all that I need
Words and Rhymes are my saviors sometimes
Those times when Love is truly missed
Or when I feel like it just dont exist
Its a shame that true beauty is sometimes overlooked
and when I think of beauty I think of all my books of words and rhymes
They're my one of a kind
They capture my inner essence
and when I'm gone you'l feel my presence
through my words and rhymes.

Yo Layla,

This is nice. It would be easier to read in black, or navy blue font.

Poetry can truly sooth the wounding of the world. Keep trusting in those words and rhymes to free those inner demons. It works. Thanks for sharing

Very nice and I agree that Poetry is a seeing eye to a Poet's HeArt Beats of Artmosphere's inflections, reflections, and retroflections.
