Little Sally is a pretty child
of ten years.

She’s in foster care,
and has been since
she was eight years old.

Sally has long blond hair
that shines in the sun
on the school playground.

Sally loves to play
on the school playground.

She has a lot
of good friends there.

The kids swing on the swings,
play on the Jungle Jim,
and slide down the sliding board.

Sally is also a little bit willful.

She would play on the playground
all night if you gave her a choice.

Her foster mother
drives to the playground,
and tells her to come home.

Sally doesn’t
want to go home.
Sally resists.

The foster mother grabs Sally
by her long hair,
and starts to drag
the screaming child
towards her car.

Sally screams, and screams.

The foster mother
drags the screaming child
across the playground,
and to her car
in the parking lot.

Life in foster care
isn’t much fun for Sally.

She would like to go back
to her real home,
or almost anywhere.

Bobby

Hello Bobby I wish Sally would go home soon and meet his true parents or find love elsewhere, all kids deserve that...

Thanks Yann,

Yes, all children do deserve love.

The book Felix is done.  I've started in on writing about Felix's wife Sally.

Poor Sally, I understand where she is coming from. When I was a child I never wanted to leave my "play world" either.

Thanks dear Ida,

Yes, what happened to Sally in foster care was not a good thing.  It was Sally and Felix against the world.  They made it though.

Thanks dear RDB,

Yes it is sad.  Bad things often happen to nice people.  It shouldn't happen to so called "bad" people either.
