you said love was just another
four letter word like ford
or plow or play
or other things people do
to each other or by themselves

but I read that story there
in the sad song music of your eyes
not out loud obvious but quiet
just in case you saw my mouth
moving around your name

and you did too suddenly
like a smile that sneaks up
and just goes nude boldly
but you looked away then
nervous that you were blushing

we danced that afternoon
with other words that were easy
and I was too almost too much
but you didn't seem to mind
us sharing a glass of time

and maybe the more word later

These are the outstanding lines
but it only helped to make the
whole of the poem quite memorable.

Thank you, Sir.

i find the strangeness and uniqueness of your poem, powerfully, attracting...in the way i perceive light is to the moth!

I cannot read this without smiling.
Everyone else already grabbed my fave lines, so I'll just say it was fantastic.
