Don't like huntin' but if I did
I'd probably miss and shoot a kid.
My aim ain't good, my sights aren't sound
I'm the worst shot in this town.

I've shot some things, didn't like the meat,
(It's so damn hard to cook them skeet)
Can't shoot those birds that we all love
(Olive branch totin-pure white doves).

Those brave dudes that shoot them deer,
With guns so big they have no fear
They put that "monster" in their sights,
Blow off their horns at dawn's daylight.

There's many kinds of deer ya know,
Santa's reindeer, (they love snow)
Impalas out in Africa
They got moose in Canada.

Here on PIP we have one too,
He's so smart he'll baffle you.
He sneaks around and writes in rhyme
That "Balla" deer ain't hard to find.

So if you want a poem to read
Just hunt in here and you will see
"Balla" deer writes in rhyme with reason
Especially when it's "Toerag" season.

He dreams of things when he sleeps
To write about poor Toe
His head is always moving
When he has to "go"..

When he's on the golf course
And aiming for that hole,
He's really contemplating
To stick it to poor Toe.

This is brilliant. I love the friendly rivalry between two great poets.

So funny I'm still chuckling.

Now see, the thing about cooking skeet is the marinade.  You marinade that in enough vodka and it's plumb scrumptious.  As is this poem.

Toe,
It's hard to be a victim, eh?

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

Toe, this is truly clever, utterly hysterical, and VERY entertaining!!!

Love those pics of Balla-deer, however, it would appear that all of his successes has gone to his HEAD! lol

Loves 'n laughs,
Linda
