          Night Watch

Only the shimmering, translucent
  cloak
of moonlit mist and stars
upon these endlessly vigilant
  hills,
transcends the march of
lives and loves,
sorrows and seasons,
forever passing…
(beyond the gates of
our cavernous dreams)
into time’s veiled,
kaleidoscopic oblivion.

Yo Secondhanddreampoet,

It's nice to see you up and about again.  Where have you been keeping yourself?  This is another good woodsy poem that's well written.

So beautiful, dear Bruce!

And if oblivion was an illusion too?

You are always captivatingly melancholic.
