You see
At long last I’m tired
Of conjuring you
As you never were
When I knew you

I’m rather sick to death
Of that poetic magnificence
Which in fact you never had

But being kind
As always was my sin
I could not tell you

Yet of course
By this very write
There will naturally be
As a consequence

Others now
Who surely know

John,

Who is this enigmatic Emma?

Bobby wants to know.

People especially those we care about rarely live up the our fantastical creatures.  I'm sure Emma would like to come down to earth too.  Your writing was superior.  Even when you take on a more elaborate style it is still quitesentially you.  Thanks for sharing

I don't think there are many who could live up to another's poetic magnificence. Makes a great poem though.
