My sadness betrays me-
I recall loving her so much.
Or come to think secondly
I might have pushed away her touch.

Once on the verge of my own demise
and seeing no reason to be,
maybe it's the Lexapro I wonder
what happened to me!

I love people, I love life,
though I haven't got a dime,
though I have bad memories
and can't pull out a rhyme.

I am blessed
with happiness.

"My sadness betrays me-

Or come to think secondly

There is indeed no greater happiness than that which IS ALWAYS present in our souls as a perfect divine gift, but we forget and go look for it in the strangest things.

You ARE blessed, dear Poetess, and I am blessed for having you in my life too.

Love and hugs.

I used to love sadness too when she was my closest companion.
It was nice to finally see the world in something other than black and gray though.
Don’t kid yourself about having trouble writing in color, you’re doing it right now.
It sure is nice to be out in the light again, and nice to see you out here too.

.

You've always
irritated me Dixie.

I can not understand
how a woman so gifted
could still end up
in the wrong place.
