I couldn't take the pain
anymore.
So I went to the highest point
of the three floor house
Pills in my hand, alone in darkness
Sad, confused, tired of being abused.

Pills started landing in my hand
unknown possibilities I said.

I took the pills, thirteen in fact
swallowed them, and took one last breath
before I knocked myself out.

I wake up to the doctors
pumping my stomach, and I see
my mom's frantic face.

I fall asleep again
and wake up to my family
all surrounding me, worried and scared.

I couldn't talk, or breathe correctly
so I just nodded at them
while my brother looked at me with worried eyes.

I just wish I didn't survive
now I caused grief to my whole family
and I didn't realize it until now.

Yo Angel,

I've been having computer troubles, so I couldn't get back to you.

There's no reason not to survive.  It’s always good to survive, so you can stick it to the man, if for no other reason.

Keep on writing.

My whole life's been hell.  It gives me loads to write about--the books sale.

Thanks Bobby, I've been through a lot in my 14 years of existance, most of it is bad.

I don't know why I get this unlucky childhood, but hey, maybe I can earn a profit from it all....

There is always gain from pain as Neitche once said "What does not kill us makes us stronger"  I think I got that right.  If so you are becoming a very strong younge man with a powerful message in your verse.

Yo Angel,

There is no such thing as "the happy childhood".  Anyone that says there is has possibly just cracked under the stress.

You know what Angel? You may have caused your family grief but I promise you they are happy you survived…

This is a very good poem Angel. I like it a lot.

As far as childhoods go I have one piece of advice that I live by and share when it comes to being a parent: Remember to remember, always.

I don't know how to react to the simple fact that I didn't try to kill myself not once but twice, but I am still alive.

Why do I survive, I have no clue. I am lucky to be alive though.
