She was tiny,
Shy with a rose dipped lip
And a hand that leaned
On her creased hips.
Still a child beneath her high cheeks,
Between the branches of her lips,
With a pianos grace, her laugh
Sat quietly on a stones grey cape.
She was suddenly a woman,
Her brown locks, no more,
Hair above her shoulders,
As she stood as tall as the ceilings wall,
Her skin was pieced like pebbles
Shadowing the rivers current.
She was a nights velvet path.
