Felix,
he’ll do anything
you ask him to.

He’s not at all picky
about what he does.

You just name it,
and it’s yours.

He’s got this thing
about eating.

He doesn’t even insist
on eating regular,
it’s just plain eating
that he’s looking at.

Don’t worry,
there's no danger
of Felix getting fat.

Like any kid,
he exercises a lot.

He even spends some time
out there on the basketball court,
shooting hoops with his mates.

They don’t know
what he does
to earn his bread,
if they did,
they’d laugh.

Of course
they’re not angels
themselves.

See him.

He’s right over there,
the skinny kid,
the one with the nice
smooth muscles,
all over his well tanned
body.

That’s him
glistening in the heat.

Bobby

Felix does seem to be very accomodating.
Perhaps it's a survival tactic.

It would be so interesting to read Felix as a book, complete with character development, etc.

I am enjoying Angelo

And looking forward to the day when I will have to pack my son a sandwich when he decides to run away too...

Thanks dear Ida,

Yes, Felix is somewhat of a plumber—a plumber being a girl in the house of ill reputes that is left to handle all the dirty jobs.

I don't think that term is used anymore.  It just shows how words come and go from the language.

Thanks dear DUBIOUSLYsane,

I'm glad you are enjoying the series.  The book should be coming out soon.

Of course Angelo is Felix's kid.  I'm pleased you are enjoying his exploits too.

Dear Tammy,

I don't understand.  Is there a problem with that line?

Felix/I never did get fat.  He/I was too active.  He was/is lucky that way.

Love Bobby

Or have I just embarrassed myself and just need to shut up now…

Dear Tammy Brown,

You are absolutely correct.  It should be "there's".

I must be getting old, well; I guess I am getting old.

Thank you for pointing that out.  I will correct it here, and in the original.

Thanks dear Alison,

Felix has lived through some pretty horrible experiences.  Felix thinks you're a keeper too.

Felix says "Yo Alison"--and that's very good.
