Ah, my muse has started today, and will not stop, one poem, one thought, after another, I cannot write fast enough, what is it? what are you trying to tell me? Let it be expressed, through these words, what you wish me to say. I cannot continue to write, there are things I must do, places I must go, But I do appreciate, your visit, it is most welcome, maybe we can pick-up, where we left off, from conversation, yes, I know he still loves me, you and I will write about it, when I return. Just try and contain yourself, until then, then we will agree, on how to express this , ok?! Why do you come to me, at times when my mind, my day is busy,? Times when I am free, you are not to be found, you laugh at that, finding it funny don't you?. You think I write because, I have such a great love?, you are very foolish, Maybe I did posess this love, now I look for it, write about it, dream of it. Yes, you are very foolish, indeed to think so, why do I listen to you? there are pieces of me, you will never get me to write, you go ahead and laugh, you will see, I find it, not one bit funny, am I laughing? You get me into alot of trouble, trouble I sometimes can do without, again, why do I listen to you? Is it because I envy you, you and your free spirit, roaming where ever it pleases. You envy me to use my hands, my body , to write your thoughts, your words, through me, Where you can no longer do it yourself! I listen, because you can see, you know things I don't, you feel things I can't, you are my muse, Sometimes, I feel you are, a spirit, one from long ago, who never got to complete, the love they wanted to have, so through me, you get a second chance at love, you and I are alike in so many ways, but sometimes you take alot of my time, you inspire me, after all, alot of my words, would not have been written, if not for you! You know you're in love, when you can't fall asleep,because reality is finally better than your dream~Dr.Seuss |
