Lumpy oatmeal makes me crazy!

Goodbye,

serves as an end to a conversation,
a period, so to speak -
merely a transition until the next time.

There is no goodbye
to be said.

There is no end to friendship shared,
to love felt and memories instilled.
They cannot be wiped away
like mist on a mirror.
They do not dissipate
like morning fog on a lake.

Friendship, love and memories
team to form a lasting legacy
that lingers like a song carried by the breeze.

There is no goodbye
to be said.

There is only love.
Always love.

Carry it with you in your travels.

a fine 'write!'

"Friendship, love and memories
team to form a lasting legacy
that lingers like a song carried by the breeze."...

I hope the above proves true...for some at least!

applause for this 'penning!'

My friend, Cade, is living by the hour now.  Sometimes, I don't know what to say so I write to him.  I write poems and some of the prose that I have posted here.  I just pour my heart out in words - I will miss him so much and my heart breaks again as I write this now.

I am so grateful to all of you.  I don't mean to be depressing or overly sad here on these pages, but this is where I am lately.  There is always beauty and happiness - and sometimes there is great sadness.  I feel all of these things.

I love Cade and am thankful to have him in my life forever.  I only wish I had more time with him here on this Earth.

Alison
