In The Arms of A Los Angeles Night

On the warmer days
in Griffith Park
the horses seem to go
a little slower
on the riding trails
that meander
through the hills,
giving a cowboy
just a little more time
to admire his cowgirl,
and sometimes when
personalities match
and the conversations
turn out right
there is a blending of desires,
so after the horses are fed
and settled into the stables,
two hearts can take the time
to grow a little closer
in the arms of a L.A. night.
