              Spring Reverie

By the first and finest rays of sunlight,
in a morning moment’s grand reverie
  rising …
(like the candescent, tremulous  mists
  of dawn)
one wonders what new ‘home’ may lie
just beyond a thousand mountain tops,
over the fresh and endless landscapes
of this infinitely gentle Spring wind
  calling…
“tarry not…come follow me!”

Bruce, this is wonderful...and just right
for the new season as we tentatively step
into the light after a very long, hard, winter.

Well done!

Secondhanddreampoet,

This is a nice gentle poem.  Have a good trip over the mountain tops.

Thank you Bruce, for sharing your lovely thoughts with all of us. Those mountain tops are very enticing.

This is like the melody of a songbird greeting the tender kiss of a Spring dawn.

Your poetry takes me so many places I’ve never been and shows me so much of the Earth and it’s treasures… Thank you.

Hi Bruce....As I prepare to move myself, I appreciate the thoughts and images you leave here in such warm visuals.  I also wanted to thank you for your replies to my poem, Dreamscape.  Blessings!
