Will you see the beauty of this sport,
the never ending move of the jerseys,
the roaring painted helmets
the abstraction of the loops
the skating with no purpose at all
but devouring the philosophy of a ring,
Will you feel the time
that freezes the thoughts of the spectators,
Will you see the constant ballet
of the hockey players as a magic show
teaching me that nothing matters
except to crosscheck the emptiness
of my life.

a most effective 'write'...

this impressionistic slice might almost make me a hockey fan...

I am particularly fond of:

"Will you feel the time
that freezes the thoughts of the spectators..."

applause!!

Hello Bruce, thank you for your comment, i made some expreience last evening, i looked a hockey game like an abstract piece, letting my eyes follow the movement of the jerseys like I would have follow the move of a fish in an aquarium...It was artful and made me happy without any kind of presssion...
I know i would not watch all the games this way but I wanted sharing that....
I don't know either were you live but in some US towns there are terrific games....

Have a very nice day

Fascinating look at hockey and the ending took the image to another level-on'e own.
