            I walk a whispered wind
where Spirits of the past traverse
              Calling out to me
to seek the wisdoms of the universe~

            I chase a rustling wind
for fear of not having seen
what it is that the Spirit's
         would have me glean~

           I seek a calming wind
that sits me down in soft surround
          Gifting me with the knowing
that where I am, is exactly where
         the whispered wind
               would find my thoughts going~

                   I walk
                 I chase
              I seek
           I sit
         I am found~

Amazing how the spirits sing to us
when we need them most.

We must never forget to listen
and learn.

What a marvelous poem! The ascending progression of thought lends itself to the very uplifting power of a spiritual wind, and the reader can feel its calming presence . . .

Marge...Great write, enjoyed...Paul

Sometime the winds might blow
all our thoughts astray
Then each passing thought
returns to us another day

Winds of time fan the flames
keeping our hearts a glow
Brush the souls of our forefathers
return to us our dreams from where they flow

I have followed Margie Tidwell's poetry for some time. This poem as with all of her others flows ever so gently. I am new here and look forward to reading more poetry from the hearts of others.

a most fine 'penning!'

As a 'Universalist,' I am particularly fond of:

" I walk a whispered wind

to seek the wisdoms of the universe~"

sustained applause!

Oh dearest friends, thanks to all who I neglected to thank for the kindness of your thoughts and prayers~

I'll be blown by the winds that move me to a place of calm in total surround~

I wait ... I seek ... I've only to speak His name to know that He is with me~
Oh dear Spirit of the Wind ... let it be now~
