What makes a man rich?
Not influence or learning
Nor yet high office.

Profound faith and sacrifice,
And the power of prayer.

(John of Damascus succeeded his father to high office in Syria, and was very wealthy and influential despite being a Christian in a Moslem country.  It is said that he was wrongly accused of treachery against the Caliph, who ordered his right hand to be cut off.  That night, John prayed to the Virgin and his hand was restored.)

God measures a man by his heart, he hides his treasures in his heart, there is where you will find all the riches in the world ....
