A fleeting fireside memory
Of mourning moment's view
A secret chalice filled
Lost days at Veedavoo

Never knew I went there
Never knew the strain
Of empty acrid sadness
The endless ache of pain

A haven in my memory
The beginning of alone
Smoke, a sleepy tendril
The stars above me shone

How could I be so stupid
Why must I be so brash
The embers glowed 'til daylight
My future turned to ash

I always take it with me
Bent over like Boo Boo
A night for Mr. Ranger
Those smells of Veedavoo

Quirks make us interesting!
