If you wanted to look deep into my soul, It would open like a flower bursting into The bloom of being, a river surging into A sea of sparkling foam. All for you. Ready. Waiting, longing to inhale that elusive Breath of a thousand miracles I see shimmering in your velvet eyes. I want to look deep into your soul, See its petals unfurl before me As you bloom once more, pain forgotten, Dancing in the sparkling foam of Our passion sea. All for us. Together. No more waiting, every breath laden With the miracle of love that I feel Could grow between you and me. Do you feel it too? Can it ever be? Or will the river run dry and leave me in A desert of burnt blossoms... |
