Writer's Block(a simple rhymn)

Voracious lines of verse
snaw at my very soul,
clammoring for release,
yet how I do not know.

So, pristine piles of paper
sit neatly on my desk
as multicolored pens of ink
yearn to flow without rest.

All the players lay in wait
longing for sweet release,
but no words rise to the bait
and this poet finds no peace.

You said that very captivatingly!

Just write and the muse will want to dance through your pen.

Shyvl,

This is cute.

The first thing to do is abandon neatness.  There is no need for it in poetry.  Poetry should be rough, raw, and truthful.  Uncover your hidden animal.  Write like a cave person.  Their writing has endured through the ages.

a writer's block is 600 feet long
the same as all other city blocks
they say if you just keep writing
or walking, you will hurry to the end
quickly....enjoyed you here ms
