Secret Pleasures

To touch him
while he sleeps,
a delicious secret pleaure
that loosens free the longing
too difficult to share.

To watch him
in silent dreaming
fills to overflowing
a flood of imprisoned emotions
too difficult to share.

It's a simple understanding,
these convenient sheet-toused tumbles.
No promises to be kept.
So I touch him
while he's sleeping
and he doesn't know
the rest.
