Mom, I am writing this not for me,
But for you,
Because even a blind man can see,
The stress you are going through.

I know you love your mother but this has got to end,
It is to clear that you are at your boiling point,
I am writing this to really send,
A message that I couldn't verbalize vocally.

She is sick and there is no cure,
You tried the best you can, and for that you are pure,
But there is only so much the family can stand,
The stress put upon us is to much for our minds to understand,
We see you get angry and set off at the slightest of ease,
I just want you to understand..please,
I love you, I don't want you to end up like our grandmother,
At least not now, you are my mother,
And I love you completely and I know you love me,
I just want for you be set free.

I don't want you to end up like her especially not now,
But I fear that she might set you off somehow,
And you may do something that you will regret forever.

So with this I want you to read and open your eyes,
For I do not no if I will have another time,
To express my feelings through these rhymes,
If I don't say anything soon, It is considered to be a crime.

no matter who or what your parents are, they are still your parents, and there is a bond that haunts, regardless of how they threat you...I suppose it's guilt, for not wanting to be there for them, but knowing somehow if you are not, you'll never forgive yourself....

Try to be patient....some day, she'll say, enough is enough, but it's got to be in her own time...

but a thoughtful and loving poem you have written to her, perhaps it will help her see the light....to know, it's ok.

When a family member is ill it does take its toll. I kept my mother home. She had Parkinsons and Alzheimer's. I worked full-time and wonder now as I look back ...how was I able to do that? Somehow you find the strength. Tell your mom of your love and help out when you can. When she is angry try to understand for you are all under a lot of pressure. Show her this poem from your heart and it will give her strength.
If you believe in God pray for help and it will come in an unexpected way.
If your family is short on funds maybe a friend could come in once in a while to give your family a break to rest your minds and body.
God Bless in the coming days
Hugs

Thank you both, it was really hard to write this poem cause' I felt like I was being selfish, and now it's going to be twice as hard to show my Mom. :[

xTr3m3sT,

This is awesome!

Do not be afraid to show this to your mom hun. I went through a little of the same with my mom and Larry. She moved in with us for a year and she made it a living hell for Larry. When he began staying at friends houses more than at home, I knew something was wrong. We talked and I found out pretty much what you are saying to your mom. She was not only making me crazy and stressed but she was stressing Larry and driving him away. Larry and Darrin would ALWAYS rather be home than anywhere else and as much as I love my mom, my children MUST come first and when she began making him feel that his home was not where he wanted to be, I had to end it. I do not feel guilty for it either. My children come first above all and everything, including me or my parents… That is the way my pops raised me to be.

Show it to her.

PS, Show her the one about your baby sister to.
