How 'bout them rhyme makers,
Ain't they fine?
Puttin' down words
Makin' them rhyme.

Them dadburn poet types
Showin' they skill
Some use a keyboard
Others use a quill

Talkin' 'bout love
Relatin' to sorrow
Writin' it now
Readin' it tomorrow

Them ever-lovin' poet writers
Ain't they neat?
Writin' them words
With rhythm and beat

Think about a subject
If ya find the muse
Like I did fer this'un
Did it just for youse!

.
Yanno Toe
You are a clever guy
Always making us laugh
And occasionally cry....

You are one of the best on here
(Almost as good as Balladeer)
Keep it up & who can tell
One day you may be as good as Effjayel....

Woderful use of rhythm and rhymn(spelling?)
"How 'bout them rhyme makers,
Ain't they fine?
Puttin' down words
Makin' them rhyme."
I am a little envious of your skill.  This was lots of fun to read.

Us pome-writers are in a class by ourselves,
Sharper than marbles and cuter than elves.
How much better can pome writing get
when done by people so articulet?

Us pome-writers are special, that's fer sure
The field of poetry fertilized by our manure.
You and me, Toe, are topnotch story tellers
And even Effjayel is a real fort smeller.

Keep on writing yore pottery, old buddy, when you can
Kick the rules of grammer around like a rusty ole tin can.
Anyone can write like Shakespeare...that ain't hard to do.
But there ain't no "old masters" who can do it quite like you!

LOL, well now ... I popped in hoping for a smile, and when I saw your name I knew you'd deliver Toe!

Thanks for the grins. Pretty soon, I think my life will finally be settling down enough to get back here and spend some quality time with all you "rhyme makers". Might even find my quill!

Loved this Toe!

Best wishes and hugs,
/Kit

When I saw you using "they" for "their" I knew I was in for a wild ride!

You is a master of light verse!
