What is life?

Is life a representation of our own mind?
Twisting and bending to suit the needs of the mind of the beholder,
Resurfacing through the fog of memories,
Smacking the person's face when the illusion of life is gone.

You see, life is like a drop of water in a pocket sized maze,
You can twist the water drop any way you want it to go,
But eventually the water drop will hit a wall and splash away.

What is life?
I really have no idea,
I'm trying to figure out this great mystery,
With no prevail.
