As we grow older
And hair turns to gray,
Our thoughts and our bodies,
Change in some ways.

A friend or a loved one,
Is gone leaving grief,
But they leave us with memories,
That touch us so deep.

The soul never dies,
Nor memories depart,
They talk to you daily,
And live on in your heart.

Time brings one healing,
It takes quite a while
But their soul lives within you
And will soon bring a smile.

May God bring you peace,
May your heart quickly mend,
May your tears turn to laughter
Till you're together again.

That's one sensitive toe.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.
