Listening to every heart

Excerpt of a Day

Sun entered herself between blinding
night-dream moments,
giving up to all who might awake
her morning, quietly ~ after a
windy, unforgiving night that kept
tapping the window; now only
a difference being light
instead of a grey dawn

welcome, welcome you, late spring.

~*~

Eyesight focuses slowly; now please,
be a dear, acknowledge age, old woman;
give a moment a moment &
go ahead, use your glasses; peer into
some cloudscape before time…
wait, and perhaps some youth
may return…

~*~

Interruptions of pleasure, reading,
knowing that a brilliance might have
sprung a good spring of words
[although]
irritating sounds collide
with peaceful breathing deep,
so, pull on a robe,
hide yourself, give no initiation of imitation
of love.

~*~

Step quiet through momentum;
dip lightly into deeds;
do, and do again; and then do
some more; be melodically truthful
to some semblance of marriage
and then
do not speak; ‘tis forbidden ~
any semblance of welfare or thought
so often trampled…

just do.

Yes,

Just an “I do”.

~*~

I know love.

~*~

Unconditional, creative, giving…
I know love.

~*~

Heart’s beat, warmth,
wellspring…well, a spring, sprung…

I know love.

~*~

In the excerpt of a day,
I know love.

~*~

I breathe, and smile,
unconditionally.

This Love,
to me,
is.

~*~

Oh, Karilea, it is sublime!
And I so love that book and the picture, both forever engraved in my memory.

This is deeply inspiring!

Love,

smile...now I'm wanting to walk through EVERYBODY'S shoes for a day.

"Bridges" was one of the most moving love stories, I think, because every woman and a lot of men could relate.

beautiful!

Now, we have mine, Susan Caldwell's...so um, I say make it a challenge yes?

Thanks for the peek into your genteel shoes.
