Taxing News

"If you drive a car, I'll tax the street.
If you try to sit I'll tax your seat.
If you get too cold I'll tax the heat.
If you take a walk I'll tax your feet."
"Taxman" sung by George Harrison, "The
Best of George Harrison."

Taxes are unfair, taxes are excessive,
taxes are getting higher and higher
as this decade progresses.
Taxes shouldn't be this way,
Corporations are given big writeoffs
and the working man pays and pays.
The government taxes your weekly check
and then when you buy a car, a home,
a shirt, a comb, he collects another tax.
As if thats not enough, when April 15 comes
around, the government will take some more
taxes until taxes run you into the ground.
If all of these taxes don't agree with
you I've got some taxing news to share,
the government will be raising your taxes
inorder to finance their latest scheme,
with more sundry wars and government
giveaways they'll tax you to the extreme.
Our only hope is that big government
will someday go away, but as long as
we want the pork that the government
provides we will surely pay.

Tax deadline is less
than 10 days away.

Now go and pay
your taxes...

You are SO right, dear James!!!!

I wholeheartedly agree with what you say, taxes ARE exaggerated.

Here our ex-Prime Minister Berlusconi said during the electoral campaign that "you can evade taxes"!!!! Yes, people like him, dishonest to the bone!

It's always the blood of those who live honestly that is sucked.

Love,
Margherita

Well said, Sir! Wesley Snipes owes the IRS $30, 000,000, and gets away without paying a dime! I'm a retired senior citizen/poet on a fixed income, and those publicans nailed me (easy target) for $52, 000.00 and collected every dime!
