As I'm standing on the horizon,
I watch the sun go down,
The beauty of it is really surprisin',
It's nature's wonderful crown.

As it sets, the sun's golden rays shine upon me,
And I start glow with a golden aura,
It's so beautiful, you just have to see,
It's only minutes but it seems like eras

And as the sun sets the sky gets painted a jet black,
With droplets of white splattered across the night sky,
And I keep this as a memory occasionally going back,
So my soul keeps the beauty, and it will never die.

What a beautiful sunset you painted with your pen… and your last line pulls at my heart, well, you probably know why…

Beautiful poetry.
