Rainbow Cow Smiling....

One day upon a barnyard
In a timewarp far away
There in the pasture of weirdness
This creature did lay
Coloured in assortment of hues
Varying from intense to pastel
I tell you it stood out from others
Oh yes
Quite well
Mooing and gnawing at grass so lush
No hurrying this one
Not intending to rush
At night when the moon
Celestrial and full
There stands this animal
Content in its own peace
And that's no bull
Dawn comes around and the sun is a rising
Why of course in the centre of it all
You guessed it
Rainbow Cow smiling...

I cannot explain to you why this poem brought tears to my eyes because it would make no sense to anyone other than me, but I will tell you, that for me your Rainbow Cow Smiling, with its incredible beauty and uniqueness, is so very, very special and it reminds me of someone who is just the same… I cannot begin to thank you enough for writing and sharing this incredible piece…

I'm smiling because it seems
as if the 60's came alive again
when I didn't get to do anything
but listen to others
talking about rainbows.

This was very good...
and quite meaningful.

I hear mellow moos and see this whimsical creature munching contentedly on a sea of vibrant green grass.
