wind rushes
with out a care
in every direction
and everywhere

i hear it
against my window
and feel it
in my hair

its blowing
things down
taking all it can
and making them
bow before him

it leaves in peace
after making
the damage
that is
left in its place

until the wind
comes again
it will be calm

Very lovely perceptions of the wind, dear hiddensmiles!

I love the sound of wind and the feel of it against my skin and blowing in my hair. Your poem vividly brought those sensations to mind!

Thank you for that!

PS I even make recordings of wind on windy days. I open my bedroom window slightly and record the whistling sounds which I can play back on nights I have difficulty falling asleep. I find them so soothing.

I like the ways this ends:

"until the wind
comes again
it will be calm"

Very nicely structured and you chose your words well keeping every thing short and to the point. It was a very good description of the wind in my world too.
