All day and night I cry,
But for some reason I don't die,
I really wonder "Why?"

Why don't I die?
Will I forever cry?
Why Lord, oh Why?

I prayed Lord, forever
To be with her, and never
Cause her pain, ever!

Yet she left me and I'm all alone,
For hurting her, I will forever atone,
She's gone, my beautiful gemstone!

What am I to do?
Forever I will be blue!
Never will my heart renew!

Why Lord, oh why?
Why don't I die?
Will I forever cry?

When we part, it is indeed like a little death, dear LittleDevil, but don't underestimate our fantastic ability to recover.
You express your pain in a very powerful way! I am sure many can relate to the outburst of your heart.
When we are in midst of such pain, we can't see the light which IS ALWAYS at the end of the tunnel, trust the light it will reach deep into your heart.
