I do not know what I’m doing wrong
There is a beat misplaced within our song
Fragrances of pink petals still drift amongst us
Other colours too with equal and subtle thrust
1000 stars inhabit the lake, 1000 equal in the sky
Why then do I feel the need to sigh?
I love you my darling princess I do, I do

I don't know from whence death came?
Does it matter? Death is death all the same
A distance too great now for any bridge to close
Only grays and a sky with a lake that has froze
I loved you my prince I did, I do
