Sun dusted fields cover the Kansas flats
A gentle wind plays with the wanderers hats
They have tongues dry as buffalo bone
There may be little water but at least each is not alone
From north to south, east to west trying to escape the squaller
Such is the common track to find the elusive dollar
As the sun sets the wanders rest and look at the sky and think
To the Stars through Difficulties, if only it were so

Oh, but it's been so,
through drought and flood!

Enjoyed this, Brian...
and I should know, as I'm
pretty much dead center
in this land of mystery.
