Stayin' Alive

I know that I shouldn't
need her close to me
to feel alive and
yet I do...

I do need to look
into her eyes,
hear her sweet voice,
feel her in my arms,
kiss her soft lips.

I do need her love and
I do need her close to me
and I do want more and
more of her love.

For even love
needs response
to stay alive.
