eons then, of silence.

i sit, hands folded,
umbilicus severed.

my eyes are closed tight,
i cant feel my feet,
my skin is aflame.

if i open my eyes
i know i'll meet my accuser.
this cannot be!

i'm
falling.

downward spiral,
hidden

haunting

shadows

that
see ..

This is interesting.  I am sitting here wondering if all the poems I read are about us  -  or if we sometimes just write life that is larger than us (as individuals).  Sometimes when I write the poem has nothing to do with me - and I am wondering if this is the case with this poem.  I am just wondering and wandering (mentally) in this response.

I wonder what free falling is like and I wonder if one free falls from this life into another.

Nothing too intellectual in my mental wanders, just - well, sometimes I need a map.

I like this.

love the read.
When we put our thought in hiding, it might get a free fall like this, in clear minded.
again, good read.
