In His Time

A bird
with a broken wing, falls,
seeks solitude, a place to hide,
a place to cry.
God picks it up,
kisses it's pain,
then teaches it to fly again.
We, like the bird, are His,
and His tendency is to brush us off
when we fall, by sending another heart,
one that enters ours,
restores the glow our soul has lost,
walks with us,
accepts our pain, returns it
with love.
He heals, in His time . . . If we just
Believe.

Jwesley,

This is a good and hopeful poem. I like it.

That's the way it should happen.

That's not the way it always is.

God has mysterious ways that are way beyond comprehension.

Alison, thank you...from you that means a lot.

Robert - unfortunately, no, that's not the way it always happens. But if we don't at least, Believe, reality will eat us up far faster than time can heal.

Yes,  the first thing is to believe and
to always have faith knowing HE is there
and will always be there for us.

Jwesley,

Oh, I believe.  I've seen God's, and mans' goodness and generousity too many times in my life not to believe.

So many times.

Thank you, Jimmy... I sent you an email before seeing this~~

"reality will eat us up far faster than time can heal."
This is so true...  but I am trying to believe that this will soon pass to better days.

I had to come back to say that I believe.  I might not always know in what, but I do believe.  I think that belief sustains me through many of my most difficult times.
