.

Ah yes
There was not
One thing she said
That would have made
Einstein fall down

Amazed  Her eyes
Were not stars— despite
What some bad poet says
And often they were blind

In grocery aisles
Or office corridors
There were many others
Far more physically beautiful
As could make her disappear

So what can I tell you
My astonished friend
That will help you
Finally understand

She was my girl

"She was my girl"

Nothing more needs to be said.

She must have been a special person and I would say "It takes one to know one."

I am particularly fond of the beginning:

"There was not
One thing she said
That would have made
Einstein fall down"
