S=0.25g(power 0.5)*L(power 1.67)*h(power-1.17)
This is a formula, a simple formula
that proves that scientists
are somehow talented poets,
g is the gravitionnal constant,
L is the stride lenght,
h is the hip height,
and this formula gives the speed
of any bird or animal,
the speed of ugly ostriches or triceratops,
the speed of you and I,
Now and so you can calculate
the marching speed of the roman army
even the speed of a boring poet.

Hello seoulair, Midnitsun, Ida and Roniece, i'm glad i didn't bother you with this formula that i found "attractive" because of its subject (the speed of a live being)...I will confess however that i'm not fond with formula in general....

Thanks again for your kind comments...

Yann~
I'm certainly not a math scholar,
but I do posses a penchant for
poets with an inclination to make me smile~

2islander2,

Do you think this could be expressed as a  nonlinear Schrödinger equation.

Excellent work Babe, I like it.

hello Marge, it's a good way to take things, i confess you that formulas usually bore me, i'm a mathematics teacher but surely not a mathematician...

Made me laugh. Oh, how math turns up in unexpected places.
