.

White clouds
Blue sky
With sunlight bright
On sidewalks finally
Free of snow

Flights of geese
That are coming back
Seagulls along the shore

With hope
Expecting miracles
I turn and find
As usual
You missing
From the scene

The green leaves
Are late this year
Or so it seems

.

I feel a sense of absence, amid beauty and serenity. A very fine poem.

Very well written. I enjoy how lightly your poem touches its themes, like pressing softly of the keys of the piano, only to listen to the small sounds, echoing deeply in the soul.

Seems very much so, John. Spring is late all over.

But this is very good, very poignant.
