The heavy grey of day
rolled in cold
to leave bones aching
as coffee steam swirled
in small puffs
consumed by mists,

the world, empty
save the dark sky,
belly rumble
with thunder eyes

for he alone sees
when lady cries

The sparseness echoes the rumble...
well done, little one.

Donna,

I just want to slip in and sit beside you with my cup of coffee and sit quietly with you.

You touch me inside -

Sorry for copying but Alison said it so much better than I ever could - but believe with my soul.
