Starting Over

I got nothing to give
only a few pennies,
a ticket out of town,
that can take me somewhere

I wish I had the grace
to smile when I am sad.
Couldn't I give smiles?
Isn't that worth something!

If there was time to give
I'd give you everything
If you don't expect much
maybe I'll surprise you

What's so amazing about really deep thoughts " Silent all these Years, Tori Amos

Starting over is surprise enough sometimes, Juju.
There's always something new around the next corner.

Juju,

Helen of Troy did wonders with a little smile.

Keep on smiling.

Even when we have to start over, and even when we don't feel like smiling sometimes we can make ourselves feel better just by smiling.

I enjoy your poetry Juju.

Re-inventing, starting over...think of it as a new spring, the natural cycle of life.
good to read you again, Juju. Good luck, poet.
