          Questions

Striking the icy mountains
the setting sun goes out,
and finest moonlight
ripples over land and sea
to assuage the saddened soul,
and transport consciousness
to that inner place of infinite
  wonder
and deepest contemplation…
of every question tiny
  and grand…

Who paints the
colors in a dream?

What do we ever truly
  ‘own’
beyond this winged
  moment
in Deep-Time’s
immortal journey?

What could contain
greater ‘truth’
than one lovely
Autumn leaf
floating on
a crystal mere?

Might supreme
  serenity
and quintescent
enlightenment
arrive…gently…
fortuitously…
(when we are searching
  for nothing)
through well-practiced
simplicity and the
discard of all opinion?

Secondhanddreampoet,

This is a fine write that leaves a disturbing question in my uninformed mind.

Do I dream in color?

Wonderful visions and questions ... you truly SEE, dear Bruce! Oh, yes we dream in colors.

We own nothing, but everything displays in incredible abundance for us to enjoy, then we know we own everything.

I just wrote this haiku yesterday:

Nature paints the sky
in overwhelming colors
for free all can see

Love,

I agree, Bruce, a clear and calm mind can produce wonderous things. By the way, I've always dreamed in color and didn't realize until recently that some people don't.

A grand view of the world. I read from Seoul with my soul.

We are indeed doing this. We are. Do you want this serenity if it does arrive in this way?

The wall in my office is filling up with your work, Poet, to which I will now add this most recent write, which is superb.
