Think about me
when you are far from here.
Hear the sounds of my whisper
calm and clear.

  You are nearer
        than you realize.

Close your eyes,
remember the sighs
as you held me tight
and I basked in your light.

Everything in the world was right.

When you are far from here
            think about me.

Gentle Spirit,

This is very simply put.  It works well as a poem.

This cries with tenderness and poignant longing. I'd bet the intended thinks of you often, with gentle heart-thoughts.

What is, should be.

Knowing deep within you,
is what is.
