bramble candy in balloons
with willing whirl winds
and kinky shoe high heels

you tied my thumbs together
then licked them wet softly
to make those butterfly sounds

when I struggled to fly by again
something about moths I guess
made you laugh out loudly

if you were wearing red ribbons
and your skin was hot coffee
which it was so often then

when you brought me morning snowcones

Good sense, innocence, cripplin' and kind.
Dead kings, many things I can't define.
Oh Cajun spice, sweats and blushers your mind.
Incense and peppermints, the color of thyme.
