Oh Lazy Tuesday

I woke up feeling
slightly blue
so I played some
classical music
because it always
reminds me of you.
I've got all morning
to spend with a friend
but there's none like you.
I won't pretend that
I don't madly miss you,
want to kiss you,
wish to lay around
all day and pass the
time away with you
inside my arms
making all of my
dreams come true.
Oh lazy Tuesday
I'm yearning
for you.

Great post James, I'm sure you must be one

romantic poet the way you put your thoughts

down on paper. Have a great day my friend.

Thank you WindWalker, Lindsay, Joyce and passing for the wonderful responses...
Actually Joyce, this is the first time in recorded History that Tuesday has been romanticized...no, no, I'm just kidding around, I'm sure its been done before...
the reasons I wrote this were two...first Alison wrote a poem call "Lazy Sunday" and so Roniece wrote a poem called "My Lazy Monday" and so I wrote a poem called "Oh Lazy Tuesday" which turned out to be romantic because all of my days are romantic...just kidding around again, but wouldn't it be nice if everyday was romantic?..."Lazy Wednesday" is still available if anyone cares to endeavor, that is if its allright with Alison and Roniece...James
